Did A Low T Drug Cause Serious Health Problems?
Testosterone therapy drugs have been linked to the onset of serious medical conditions, including:
- Heart attack
- Pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs)
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

Testosterone Therapy May Be Dangerous, Deadly
The use of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to treat low T, testosterone deficiency or hypogonadism is not a new practice. It has been prescribed to help men fight the decline in testosterone levels associated with aging. But TRT is not without serious risks. A study published in January noted that all men over 65 who undergo testosterone therapy double their risk of a heart attack. Men under age 65 with a pre-existing heart condition may also double their risk of a serious heart attack by taking a low T drug such as:

Low T therapy is usually given by injection, gel or patch. If you are undergoing low T therapy, do not simply stop taking the medication. Talk to your doctor before changing any prescription drug program.
