Hailey Hutson was born and raised in Friendswood, Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University before pursuing her legal education at South Texas College of Law- Houston, where she earned her J.D. and certificate in Trial Advocacy.
At South Texas College of Law-Houston, Hailey’s passion for advocacy became clear. Upon joining South Texas’ nationally recognized Mock Trial Team, Hailey competed in tournaments across the country, and achieved recognition as a semifinalist at the Syracuse National Trial League and a finalist at the Syracuse National Trial Competition. She also attended Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocates in St. Andrews, Scotland, where she continued refining her trial and courtroom skills. Among other recognitions, Hailey is most proud that her leadership in advocacy during law school earned her the role of Co-Chair of the Board of Advocates at South Texas.
As a second-generation attorney, Hailey’s dedication to the law began at a young age. During her first year of law school, she clerked for a Harris County Civil Court judge and solidified her passion for litigation and dedication to client advocacy. She later expanded her skills with a clerkship at a prominent personal injury firm in Houston, gaining invaluable experience before joining Abraham Watkins.
At Abraham Watkins, Hailey focuses on personal injury law, including automobile accidents, catastrophic injuries, explosions, products liability, and wrongful death cases. She continues to be a fierce advocate, driven by her passion for helping her clients secure justice.
